Haren Companies served as the construction manager for the Lux One Apartments project in Blue Springs, Missouri, delivering a multi-family development through a coordinated, schedule-driven approach. From preconstruction through completion, our team focused on cost control, constructability, and risk management to ensure a predictable and efficient build process.
During preconstruction, Haren worked closely with the architect and design team to review drawings, validate budgets, and identify constructability challenges early. This collaboration allowed for refined detailing, improved system coordination, and alignment with project goals key advantages of the CMAR delivery method.
The project included full site development and building construction, featuring exterior elements such as trash enclosures, monument signage, courtyard spaces, and resident amenities. Detailed site components including walls, bollards, fencing, and coping systems—were carefully coordinated to ensure durability and long-term performance.
A central highlight of the development is the north courtyard, designed to enhance resident experience through functional outdoor space, clear circulation, and inviting gathering areas.
The project required full coordination of civil, structural, and MEP systems, including utility integration, field verification, and compliance with all applicable building codes and ADA requirements. This level of coordination is critical in multifamily construction, where consistency directly impacts schedule, cost, and long-term performance.
Throughout construction, Haren managed subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and quality control while maintaining clear communication with the owner and design team. By proactively addressing field conditions and aligning all stakeholders, the project progressed efficiently and met expectations for quality and durability.
