In 2010, Haren Companies, in partnership with PGAV, completed the 119,000 SF Brookdale Overland Park CCRC. A decade later, they returned to renovate a skilled nursing wing, converting 25 beds into 19 memory care units. The renovation included apartment-style memory care units, a solace room, a serenity room, cabinets for medical charts, and secured exits. Updates also featured new paint, flooring, lighting, and custom cabinetry in both living units and common areas.

Haren’s skilled trades ensured quality and adherence to a strict schedule, minimizing disruptions in the occupied community. Throughout the project, cost savings were added to the contingency fund, with unused funds returned to Brookdale for further improvements. This project reflects Haren’s commitment to meeting the unique needs of senior living communities.
