Visitation Catholic Church

Kansas City, MO
Renovation

Visitation Church, built in 1917, recently underwent a transformative expansion, adding 47,000 square feet to the original structure. This expansion increased sanctuary seating from 300 to 1,200, enabling the congregation to continue their mission of service and fellowship. The project involved the demolition of adjacent homes and a portion of the existing church. Renovation work was carried out on the narthex, basement, and courtyard, in addition to the construction of new spaces, including a fellowship hall, daily chapel, education wing, meeting rooms, music room, and kitchen.
