KCK Fire Station

Haren worked with the Unified Government of Wyandotte County & KCK (UG) to construct a fire station located at Leavenworth & Hutton Roads. The 10,200 square foot fire station features two drive-through apparatus bays and a half apparatus bay. It includes a decontamination room, individual bunk rooms, a fitness center, kitchen/dining space, and a gear locker room. Haren completed the fire station on time and was able to save $58,000 on construction costs, which was returned to the Unified Government. Those funds were then used to sod the area surrounding the station.
