Consolidated Fire Station #23 (2019)
Prairie Village, KS
New Construction
Haren collaborated with Consolidated Fire District #2 and the City of Prairie Village to construct a new fire station at 77th Street and Mission Road. The station features a single-story, slab-on-grade design, utilizing durable masonry and steel construction. Its roof system incorporates bar joists and pre-engineered metal trusses, topped with plywood and asphalt shingles for a reliable, long-lasting structure. Inside, the station is equipped with metal stud framing, drywall, and a steel mezzanine.
The facility houses essential spaces, including offices, a bunkhouse, kitchen, fitness area, gear storage, lockers, and three apparatus bays. Haren also provided on-site operational training for all major building systems to ensure functionality.
