Prairie Village Fire Station #23 is a firehouse in the Consolidated Fire District #2, located at Mission Road and West 77th Street. The fire station will be a single story slab on grade masonry and steel construction. Roof construction will be bar joists and pre-engineered metal trusses with plywood and asphalt shingles.

Interior construction includes metal studs, drywall, and an interior steel mezzanine. The fire station will consist of offices, a bunkhouse, kitchen, workout/fitness, gear storage, lockers and apparatus bays.

Heavy duty concrete paving from Mission Road will be the access road to the new fire station with retaining walls located along the site.
